Having obtained a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA), students will greatly benefit from my diverse experience as a professor, entrepreneur, business and financial manager, coach, and involvement in community outreach. I am proficient in classroom management, needs assessment, disciplinary issues, and varying instructional strategies to meet diverse business student needs.
I am committed to encouraging and motivating young people toward success by integrating a working knowledge of textbook subject matter and a strong Christian ethic, along with my thirty plus years of experience in business and technology.
As a business faculty member for more than a dozen years, I have extensive classroom experience teaching undergraduate business courses including Management, Marketing, Finance, Organizational Development, Leadership Management, Consumer Behavior, Services Marketing, International Business, International Marketing, Integrated Marketing Communications, Strategic Management, Small Business Management, Human Resource Management, Business Ethics Professional Selling, Conflict Management, Change Management, and Leadership Management.
Graduate level course experience, which is my preference, includes International Business, Corporate Finance, Professional Communications, Business Strategy, Managerial Accounting, and Corporate Social Responsibility.
I also own and operate a business consulting firm, JannaServices LLC, specializing in strategy development, international management and marketing, business planning, and small business management.
Drawing upon my extensive business travel experience, I recently launched a website for business travelers: The Bizness Traveler. It provides best practices, tips, and tools for the smart business traveler.
